Why We Built the BEHEMOTH: Because We Can.

Two HydroPanel 12.0 systems. Up to 24 GPM of rated pure-water production. Five electric hose reels. One absolutely ridiculous drone cleaning trailer.

Was it necessary?

No.

Did we build it anyway?

You're damn right we did.

At ProTool, we design and manufacture commercial cleaning equipment for contractors who need reliable, integrated systems that work as hard as they do.

Usually, that means making practical engineering decisions. Matching equipment to applications. Balancing performance, cost, weight, and complexity.

And then, every once in a while, somebody asks a question that probably should have stayed inside the engineering department.

"What if we built something completely ridiculous?"

Meet the ProTool BEHEMOTH.

Our most outrageous enclosed drone cleaning trailer.

Not because the market demanded it.

Not because our existing Flagship couldn't get the job done.

Because we wanted to see how far we could push the platform.

First, Let's Talk About the Flagship

Before we explain why we built the BEHEMOTH, there's something you should understand.

Our ProTool Flagship Enclosed Drone Cleaning Trailer was already our best overall drone cleaning trailer.

And it still is.

The Flagship combines commercial pressure washing, soft washing, pure-water production, water-fed pole capability, electric hose management, remote controls, and ProTool's integrated Command Port into one purpose-built enclosed trailer.

At the heart of its pure-water system are two HydroPanel 4.5 RO/DI units.

Together, they provide substantial purified-water production for demanding commercial cleaning operations.

With adequate incoming water, suitable operating conditions, and a properly matched cleaning application, the Flagship can sustain its intended full-capacity operation without relying on a finite supply of DI resin alone.

That's a pretty serious capability.

For contractors looking for a premium drone cleaning ground-support trailer, the Flagship already delivers the complete ProTool package.

We didn't need to replace it.

We didn't need to fix it.

And we certainly didn't need to build something even bigger just to prove that we could.

Which, naturally, is exactly what we did.

What Happens When the Engineers Stop Asking Whether They Should?

Most equipment development starts with a problem.

A contractor needs more flow.

A crew needs better hose management.

A system needs to be easier to operate or maintain.

The BEHEMOTH started with a different question.

What would happen if we took our Flagship and pushed pure-water production to an entirely different level?

Not a modest increase.

Not a small upgrade.

Something completely excessive.

We took the proven concept behind our premium enclosed drone cleaning trailer and redesigned its pure-water package around two gas-powered HydroPanel 12.0 BEHEMOTH systems.

Each system is rated for up to 12 GPM of pure-water production.

Together?

Up to 24 GPM of combined rated pure-water production.

That's a lot of purified water.

Actual output depends on incoming water quality, supply pressure, temperature, available feedwater flow, and the systems' operating conditions.

And those details matter.

Because building a system capable of producing that much water is only half the challenge.

You still have to feed it.

Under the Hood: Dual HydroPanel 12.0 Systems

A commercial drone cleaning operation may require substantial volumes of purified water, depending on the aircraft, cleaning equipment, and application.

The purpose of RO/DI purification is to remove dissolved minerals from incoming water so the delivered water meets the cleaning system's requirements.

Reverse osmosis handles most of the dissolved mineral removal.

Deionization resin provides final polishing.

That combination can dramatically reduce DI resin consumption compared with treating the entire water volume using DI alone.

Our HydroPanel family is designed around that principle.

The Flagship uses dual HydroPanel 4.5 systems.

The BEHEMOTH takes a different approach.

It uses two gas-powered HydroPanel 12.0 units, creating a combined rated production capacity of up to 24 GPM.

But here's an important distinction.

Rated production capacity is not a promise that every jobsite can supply enough incoming water to achieve it.

Reverse osmosis requires adequate feedwater, and some incoming water becomes reject water during purification.

That means the raw-water supply must support more than the desired purified-water output.

The actual requirement depends on the system's recovery rate and operating conditions.

Put simply:

You can't make 24 gallons of purified water every minute if you don't have enough incoming water to support the process.

Even the BEHEMOTH has to obey physics.

Unfortunately.

Feeding the Beast: Why We Added a Fifth Electric Reel

The Flagship already has a premium hose-management package.

The BEHEMOTH goes further.

Five electric hose reels.

And no, we didn't add the fifth one just because we had an empty space to fill.

Although that would have been pretty on-brand.

The additional reel provides a second dedicated raw-water inlet connection.

That gives operators the ability to connect two incoming water supplies when the jobsite and equipment configuration support it.

Why?

Because dual HydroPanel 12.0 systems can require a tremendous amount of incoming water.

A second inlet creates additional supply options.

But—and this is important—two connections don't automatically guarantee adequate water flow.

If the available sources cannot deliver the required combined volume and pressure, adding another hose won't magically fix the problem.

The incoming supply still has to be evaluated.

More plumbing doesn't create more water. It just gives you more ways to deliver what's available.

That's the kind of engineering detail that separates a functional high-capacity system from an impressive-looking equipment list.

The Rest of the Trailer Didn't Get Left Behind

The BEHEMOTH isn't simply two enormous purification systems sitting inside an empty trailer.

It retains the premium equipment philosophy of the Flagship.

The build includes:

  • An 8.5 GPM commercial pressure washer
  • A ProTool P40 soft wash system
  • Dual gas-powered HydroPanel 12.0 RO/DI systems
  • Premium enclosed trailer platform
  • ProTool Command Port
  • Integrated water-fed pole equipment
  • Full remote-control integration
  • Onboard charging
  • Five electric hose reels, including two dedicated raw-water inlet reels

Each system has a purpose.

Pressure washing provides mechanical cleaning capability.

The P40 supports high-flow soft washing applications.

The HydroPanel systems provide purified water for compatible cleaning operations.

The Command Port and remote controls bring equipment functions together into a more integrated operating experience.

Electric reels make hose deployment and retrieval more manageable.

And the enclosed platform gives the entire system a dedicated home.

The challenge is making all those components work together while accounting for weight, layout, plumbing, power, ventilation, access, and maintenance.

That's where ProTool's experience designing and manufacturing complete cleaning rigs comes into play.

Anybody can make an equipment list look impressive. Making the entire system work is the actual job.

Does Anybody Actually Need This Thing?

Here's where we're supposed to tell you that every serious commercial drone cleaning contractor needs the BEHEMOTH.

We're not going to do that.

For most operations, the Flagship is the better recommendation.

Its dual HydroPanel 4.5 systems already provide serious pure-water production, and its complete equipment package is designed around practical commercial cleaning requirements.

The BEHEMOTH's additional production capacity only becomes useful when an operation has a real application for it.

That might involve unusually high purified-water demand, specialized workflows, or multiple compatible delivery requirements.

Even then, the incoming water supply must support the system.

More production capacity isn't automatically more productivity.

If your cleaning equipment only requires a fraction of the available flow, the rest of that capacity isn't making you money simply because it exists.

And that's why we don't recommend equipment based on the biggest number printed on the specification sheet.

The right equipment is the equipment that matches the work.

Which brings us to an uncomfortable question.

If we don't think most contractors need the BEHEMOTH, why build it?

Because Engineering Shouldn't Always Stop at Good Enough

Most ProTool builds start with a practical goal.

Make the equipment more productive.

Make it easier to operate.

Make it easier to service.

Help contractors perform the work they're actually being paid to do.

The BEHEMOTH started with curiosity.

We wanted to explore what was possible when we pushed our enclosed drone cleaning trailer platform beyond its usual configuration.

That meant working through challenges involving purification capacity, raw-water delivery, plumbing integration, equipment layout, and the supporting systems required to make the build functional.

And that's valuable work.

Not every engineering project needs to become the standard product.

Sometimes the point is to develop experience, test an approach, and demonstrate what your team is capable of designing and manufacturing.

The BEHEMOTH is that kind of project.

A halo build.

A technical showcase.

A reminder that ProTool isn't limited to choosing equipment from a catalog and bolting it onto a frame.

We design the complete system. And sometimes we design one just to see how far we can go.

Bigger Doesn't Automatically Mean Better

Let's make something perfectly clear.

The BEHEMOTH isn't replacing the Flagship at the top of our recommendations.

It's our most extreme drone cleaning trailer.

But the Flagship remains our best overall.

There's a difference.

The BEHEMOTH wins the contest for outrageous pure-water production.

The Flagship wins the contest for the complete, practical premium package we'd recommend to most serious commercial drone cleaning contractors.

And for contractors looking for a balance between capability and investment, our Pure Pro Command remains the sweet spot.

That distinction is intentional.

We don't want customers buying more equipment simply because we can build it.

We want them choosing equipment that makes sense for their operation.

If the BEHEMOTH's additional capacity solves a genuine requirement, fantastic.

If it doesn't?

We'll happily point you toward a more practical configuration.

We'd rather build you the right trailer than sell you the wrong one.

Meet the Monster

The BEHEMOTH represents what happens when engineering curiosity meets ProTool's willingness to build something a little outrageous.

Dual HydroPanel 12.0 systems.

Up to 24 GPM of combined rated pure-water production.

Five electric hose reels.

A complete premium commercial cleaning equipment package.

And absolutely no attempt to pretend that everybody needs one.

We built it because we wanted to.

Because we could.

And because sometimes it's worth seeing just how far an idea can go.

Necessary? No. Badass? Absolutely.
