How to Choose a ProTool Drone Cleaning Trailer: The Complete 2027 Buyer's Guide

Six drone cleaning trailer. Six different personalities. And one manufacturer willing to tell you which of its own products you probably shouldn't buy.

Shopping for a drone cleaning trailer?

Congratulations. You've entered a market where everybody has the biggest pump, the best equipment, and a trailer that's supposedly going to revolutionize your business.

Lots of shiny reels. Lots of impressive numbers. Lots of promises.

Here's the problem.

A trailer full of expensive equipment isn't necessarily a good cleaning system.

Commercial drone cleaning demands more than a pressure washer and a water tank. Water production, pressure delivery, chemical application, hose management, controls, storage, and the drone itself all have to play nicely together.

And if they don't?

Congratulations again. You've purchased a very expensive plumbing problem.

At ProTool, we design and manufacture complete commercial cleaning systems. We've built everything from stripped-down DI-only trailers to sophisticated enclosed rigs with dual RO/DI systems, remote controls, electric reels, and our signature Command Port.

We've also built the BEHEMOTH.

Because apparently, at some point, somebody in engineering decided that reasonable was just a suggestion.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves.

This is our official 2027 ProTool drone cleaning trailer buyer's guide.

We're ranking all six of our enclosed drone cleaning trailer based on what we'd actually recommend to professional contractors—not which one has the biggest number on the spec sheet.

And yes, that means criticizing our own products.

We built them. We know what they do. We know where the compromises are.

We might as well tell you.

The Top 6 ProTool Drone Cleaning Trailers for 2027

Let's get straight to it.

These are our official manufacturer rankings, based on practical capability, equipment integration, operating economics, and overall suitability for professional drone cleaning.

Not maximum horsepower. Not maximum price. Not maximum bragging rights.

The trailer we'd recommend most is at the top.

RankTrailerProTool Verdict
#1FlagshipBest Overall. Period.
#2Pure Pro CommandThe Smart Money.
#3Pure ProThe Working Professional.
#4Pure EssentialThe Sensible Starting Point.
#5Cheap ShotThe One We'd Rather Talk You Out Of.
#6BEHEMOTHBecause We Can.

Wait. You Ranked Your Own BEHEMOTH Last?

Yep.

And we're proud of it.

The BEHEMOTH wasn't built to win a buyer's guide.

It was built to see how far we could push the platform.

For most professional drone cleaning operations, the Flagship is the better overall recommendation.

And if you're looking for a compelling balance of features and investment, Pure Pro Command is our sweet spot.

The BEHEMOTH exists for unusually demanding applications—and because our engineers occasionally get a little carried away.

Just because we can build something doesn't mean we're going to tell everybody they need one.

And You Don't Recommend Your Cheapest Trailer Either?

Not for most high-volume pure-water operations.

The Cheap Shot demonstrates the trade-offs of DI-only purification.

When resin consumption is high, the money saved on the initial purchase can disappear into operating costs.

That's why we built it.

We'd rather explain the compromises on one of our own trailers than criticize another manufacturer's equipment without showing you the math.

And later in this guide, we're going to show you exactly what that math looks like.

Spoiler: $545 in DI resin for one six-hour job gets your attention pretty quickly.

#1 — ProTool Flagship: Best Overall. Period.

SKU: 180-4700

If somebody asked us which ProTool drone cleaning trailer we'd recommend for a serious commercial operation, this is where we'd start.

The ProTool Flagship brings together everything that makes a premium cleaning system worth owning.

An 8.5 GPM commercial pressure washer.

A P40 soft wash system.

Two HydroPanel 4.5 RO/DI purification systems, providing up to 9 GPM of combined rated pure-water production.

Four electric hose reels.

Full remote controls.

Integrated water-fed pole equipment.

And the ProTool Command Port, putting essential controls and hose access right where operators need them: curbside.

The Flagship isn't simply our most complete practical package.

It's designed around a fundamental requirement of high-volume drone cleaning: producing enough purified water to keep the operation moving.

With adequate feedwater and appropriate operating conditions, its dual HydroPanel configuration can sustain its intended full-capacity operation without depending entirely on a finite tank of pre-produced water.

That matters when the job lasts all day.

Why it's #1: The Flagship combines serious production capacity with the complete premium equipment package. It's the trailer we'd choose when capability, integration, and practical performance come first.

Our verdict: Buy once. Work hard. Quit shopping for upgrades.

#2 — ProTool Pure Pro Command: The Smart Money

SKU: 180-4704

Here's where things get interesting.

The Pure Pro Command doesn't have the Flagship's dual HydroPanel production.

But it does have a whole lot of what makes the Flagship so damn good.

An 8.5 GPM pressure washer.

P40 soft washing.

A HydroPanel 4.5 RO/DI system.

Electric hose reels.

Full remote controls and charging.

Integrated water-fed pole equipment.

And the premium enclosed trailer with our Command Port.

In other words, you're getting the high-end operating experience without stepping all the way up to the dual-HydroPanel Flagship.

For contractors whose water demand fits a single HydroPanel 4.5 system, that's a compelling combination.

Why it's #2: Premium integration, smart controls, and commercial equipment without paying for additional purification capacity you may not need.

Our verdict: The sweet spot. The smart money. The one that makes a whole lot of sense.

#3 — ProTool Pure Pro: The Working Professional

SKU: 180-4703

The Pure Pro is where we start getting serious about automation.

You're getting an 8.5 GPM pressure washer, P40 soft wash system, HydroPanel 4.5 RO/DI purification, electric hose reels, full remotes, and onboard charging.

What aren't you getting?

The premium Command Port and integrated water-fed pole package.

And depending on your operation, that might be perfectly fine.

Not everybody needs every bell and whistle.

Sometimes you want the working equipment, the electric reels, the remotes, and the ability to get through the day without turning every hose retrieval into an arm workout.

Why it's #3: Serious commercial equipment with meaningful automation and fewer premium extras.

Our verdict: All business. No unnecessary jewelry.

#4 — ProTool Pure Essential: The Sensible Starting Point

SKU: 180-4702

The Pure Essential is proof that entry-level doesn't have to mean making bad decisions.

It uses a 5.5 GPM pressure washer, P40 soft wash equipment, manual hose reels, and—this is the important part—a HydroPanel 4.5 RO/DI purification system.

No full remote-control package.

No electric reels.

No Command Port.

But you do get onboard reverse osmosis.

And for a contractor planning to produce significant amounts of purified water, that can be far more important than fancy controls.

We'd rather see somebody invest in the right purification system before spending money on convenience features.

Why it's #4: It prioritizes the equipment that can affect your operating economics while keeping the rest of the package straightforward.

Our verdict: Not flashy. Just smart.

#5 — ProTool Cheap Shot: The One We'd Rather Talk You Out Of

SKU: 180-4701

Well, this is awkward.

We manufacture the Cheap Shot.

We sell it.

And we're putting it near the bottom of our own recommendations.

Why?

Because it uses DI-only water purification.

No reverse osmosis.

Just incoming water and DI resin doing all the mineral removal.

That can work for certain low-demand applications or favorable incoming water conditions.

But when you're producing thousands of gallons of pure water for commercial drone cleaning, resin costs can get ugly.

Fast.

We're going to show you the math later in this guide.

And it's not pretty.

Why it's #5: Lower initial investment, but potentially painful ongoing purification costs.

Our verdict: We'll sell you one. But we're going to make damn sure you understand what you're buying.

#6 — ProTool BEHEMOTH: Because We Can

SKU: 180-4705

And finally, our most ridiculous creation.

The ProTool BEHEMOTH.

Dual gas-powered HydroPanel 12.0 RO/DI systems.

Up to 24 GPM of combined rated pure-water production.

Five electric hose reels, including two dedicated incoming raw-water inlet reels.

The premium Flagship equipment package.

All the controls. All the integration.

An absolutely outrageous amount of purification capability.

So why is it last?

Because this is a ranking of what we'd recommend to most contractors.

And most contractors don't need 24 GPM of rated pure-water production.

Even fewer have a practical way to use that much output—or a jobsite water supply capable of supporting it.

The BEHEMOTH isn't a bad trailer.

It's an engineering flex.

We didn't build it because the Flagship wasn't good enough.

We built it because we wanted to see how far we could push the platform.

Why it's #6: Extraordinary capability, but a specialized use case and a whole lot of capacity most buyers won't need.

Our verdict: Necessary? No. Badass? Absolutely.

Now, Here's Why We Ranked Them That Way

A ranking is easy.

Anybody can slap six products into a list and declare a winner.

The useful part is understanding why one configuration makes more sense than another.

Because the real differences between drone cleaning trailer aren't the paint, the decals, or how many shiny hose reels you can squeeze into a photo.

They're the things that affect what happens after you arrive at the jobsite.

Let's get under the hood.

1. Start With Your Drone, Not Our Equipment Catalog

Before we talk pumps, purification, or trailer packages, there's one question you need to answer.

What does your actual drone cleaning system require?

Not what the biggest drone on YouTube uses.

Not what another contractor claims they run.

Your equipment.

Different drone cleaning systems have different requirements for operating pressure, flow, hose size, chemical compatibility, and water delivery.

Cleaning windows with purified water isn't the same job as applying a cleaning solution to a building exterior.

And the equipment required to support those operations may be very different.

Start by identifying:

  • The cleaning methods your drone supports
  • Required operating flow and pressure
  • Permitted cleaning solutions
  • Hose and delivery limitations
  • Expected continuous operating time
  • Water quality requirements

The right trailer supports the drone. The drone shouldn't have to work around the wrong trailer.

2. GPM and PSI: Bigger Numbers Don't Automatically Win

GPM and PSI get thrown around a lot in commercial cleaning.

Let's make them useful.

GPM tells you how much water a pump moves.

PSI tells you the pressure.

But a pump's rated output isn't necessarily what reaches the cleaning attachment.

Long hose runs create friction losses.

Elevation affects pressure.

Fittings, hose diameter, and the cleaning equipment itself influence performance.

That matters when the cleaning attachment is operating well above the trailer.

Our entry-level enclosed drone cleaning configurations use 5.5 GPM pressure washers.

Our higher-tier configurations use 8.5 GPM pressure washers.

Does that make 8.5 GPM automatically better?

No.

It provides greater available flow, but only if the application can use it.

Buying a bigger pump to impress your buddies doesn't make the building any cleaner.

Match the equipment to the actual delivery requirements.

And remember: the pressure washer, plumbing, hose, and cleaning attachment all need to work as a system.

3. Pressure Washing and Soft Washing Are Different Tools

A professional drone cleaning operation may involve more than one cleaning method.

Pressure washing uses pressurized water for suitable cleaning applications.

Soft washing uses controlled application of cleaning solutions, typically where chemistry does more of the work.

Both have their place.

Neither should be applied indiscriminately.

Our enclosed drone cleaning lineup incorporates dedicated pressure washing and P40 soft wash equipment.

That provides flexibility for compatible cleaning methods without trying to force every application through one pump.

The P40 is a high-flow soft wash system capable of approximately 11 GPM under its rated conditions.

But chemical compatibility, appropriate pressure, hose selection, and the drone manufacturer's operating limits still matter.

The goal isn't to blast everything harder. It's to clean it correctly.

4. DI-Only vs. RO/DI: The Decision That Can Cost You Thousands

Here we go.

This is one of the biggest differences in our lineup, and it's one we think deserves a lot more attention.

DI-only purification and RO/DI purification can both produce low-TDS water.

But they don't necessarily produce it at the same operating cost.

DI-Only: Let the Resin Take the Beating

Deionization resin removes dissolved ions from incoming water.

Simple enough.

But resin has a limited exchange capacity.

Once it's exhausted, you replace it.

Higher incoming TDS generally means more dissolved minerals to remove, which can shorten resin life.

And high-volume cleaning means you're pushing a lot of water through those tanks.

That's where DI-only can get expensive.

RO/DI: Let Reverse Osmosis Do the Heavy Lifting

A HydroPanel RO/DI system uses reverse osmosis to remove much of the incoming dissolved mineral load before the water reaches the DI polishing stage.

That means the resin has far less work to do.

Less mineral load.

Longer potential resin life.

Less money spent replacing resin.

RO/DI equipment has its own costs and maintenance requirements, of course. Membranes, prefilters, power, and reject-water handling don't disappear.

But for high-volume purified-water production, RO pretreatment can make an enormous difference.

And we don't have to use somebody else's equipment to illustrate it.

We built our own DI-only trailer. Let's put it on the witness stand.

5. The Cheap Shot Problem: One Job. Six Hours. $545 in Resin.

Imagine you're running a commercial drone cleaning operation.

Your drone consumes 5.5 gallons of pure water per minute.

You're cleaning for six hours.

That's approximately 2,000 gallons of purified water used on one job.

Now let's assume incoming water with sufficiently high dissolved mineral content that a DI-only system consumes approximately two cubic feet of resin producing that volume.

Our Cheap Shot uses two DI tanks.

Each holds one cubic foot of resin.

At approximately $272 per bag of ProTool virgin DI resin, replacing both tanks costs:

$545.

For one job.

Read that again.

Five hundred and forty-five dollars. Just for DI resin.

Not fuel.

Not labor.

Not insurance.

Not the aircraft.

Just the material used to make the water.

And tomorrow?

You've got another building.

Now Give Reverse Osmosis a Turn

Let's compare the same water volume with RO pretreatment.

Assume the RO/DI system reduces resin consumption by 90% under these operating conditions.

Here's what happens.

One Six-Hour JobDI-OnlyRO/DI
Pure water used~2,000 gal~2,000 gal
DI resin cost$545$55
Resin savings—~$490

Same 2,000 gallons. About $490 less in resin expense.

Under those assumptions, the amount of resin consumed by one DI-only job could support approximately ten comparable jobs with RO pretreatment.

Ten.

That's not a rounding error.

That's an operating-cost difference worth understanding before you buy a trailer.

This is an illustrative higher-TDS example, not a guaranteed resin-life calculation. Actual results depend on incoming water quality, membrane rejection, resin capacity, and operating conditions. The comparison isolates DI resin expense; it does not include RO/DI equipment, energy, maintenance, or reject-water costs. The system must also have sufficient purification production and storage to supply the job's water demand.

Why We Built the Cheap Shot Anyway

We could have spent this entire section criticizing other manufacturers who sell DI-only drone cleaning trailers.

But where's the fun in that?

We built one ourselves.

Now we can show you exactly what the trade-off looks like.

The Cheap Shot isn't useless.

DI-only purification can make sense for favorable feedwater, modest water demand, or particular operating requirements.

But if you're planning to produce thousands of gallons of pure water regularly, you need to run the numbers.

Because a lower purchase price doesn't mean much if the savings disappear into a resin tank.

Cheap equipment isn't always cheap to own.

And that's why the Pure Essential, with its HydroPanel 4.5, ranks above the Cheap Shot.

Even without the fancy stuff.

6. Water Production vs. Water Consumption: Know the Difference

Here's another area where the marketing numbers can get a little slippery.

A purification system's production capacity is not the same as a drone's consumption rate.

Say your drone consumes 5.5 GPM.

And your purification system produces 4.5 GPM.

You're using water faster than you're making it.

Simple math.

Stored water can make up the difference for a while.

But if that imbalance continues, the tank eventually runs down.

That's not a problem with the HydroPanel.

It's a problem with expecting five and a half gallons to come out when only four and a half are going in.

Water tanks aren't magic. They're batteries for water. Eventually, you have to recharge them.

Why the Flagship Gets Two HydroPanels

Our Flagship uses dual HydroPanel 4.5 systems, providing up to 9 GPM of combined rated pure-water production.

That additional capacity helps support higher sustained water demand.

When properly supplied and operated under suitable conditions, the system can keep producing water at a rate that supports its intended full-capacity operation.

And that's a major reason the Flagship takes our top spot.

Not because two HydroPanels look cooler than one.

Although they do.

Because production capacity matters when you're trying to keep a commercial operation moving.

7. The Most Overlooked Specification: Incoming Water

Want to know how to make a massive RO/DI system look really stupid?

Give it a garden hose that can't supply enough water.

Reverse osmosis needs feedwater.

And because some incoming water becomes reject water during purification, the feedwater requirement is greater than the finished pure-water output.

That means the incoming water source must support the system's flow and pressure requirements.

Water temperature and quality also influence performance.

This is especially important when considering our BEHEMOTH.

Two HydroPanel 12.0 systems can produce up to a combined rated 24 GPM of purified water.

But only when operating conditions and feedwater availability support that output.

That's why the BEHEMOTH has two dedicated incoming raw-water reels.

They provide additional connection options.

They do not magically guarantee enough supply.

Two hoses connected to two lousy water sources still give you lousy water supply.

Before buying a high-capacity purification system, find out whether you can actually feed it.

8. Manual Reels vs. Electric Reels: Your Arms Have Opinions

Manual hose reels work.

We're not going to pretend otherwise.

They're simple, straightforward, and keep initial equipment costs down.

But when you're retrieving hundreds of feet of hose multiple times a day, electric reels start looking pretty attractive.

And once you've used them?

Going back to hand-cranking everything feels a lot less charming.

Our Pure Pro and higher configurations include electric hose reels.

But there's more to good hose management than adding a motor.

Reel placement matters.

Access matters.

Hose routing matters.

And whether you can reach the equipment without crawling through the trailer matters a whole lot.

Your crew gets paid to clean buildings. Not fight hoses.

9. Remote Controls: Stop Walking Back to the Trailer

Picture this.

You're operating a cleaning system on a large commercial property.

You need to stop an engine or change a supported equipment function.

Without remote control, you're walking back to the trailer.

Again.

And again.

And again.

That's why we integrate Skid Nexus remote-control systems into our higher-tier builds.

Properly configured remote controls allow operators to manage supported functions without constantly returning to the equipment.

It's not about making the trailer look futuristic.

It's about removing unnecessary steps from the workday.

Of course, remote systems need proper electrical integration, compatible equipment, reliable power, and serviceable wiring.

A remote is only an upgrade if the whole system behind it is done right.

10. The Command Port: Everything Curbside

Here's one of our favorite ProTool features.

The Command Port.

Available on the Pure Pro Command, Flagship, and BEHEMOTH configurations, it's our dedicated exterior operating station.

Instead of treating the inside of the enclosed trailer like a scavenger hunt, the Command Port brings essential operating access to the curbside.

Hose reels.

Controls.

Equipment connections.

An organized interface for the systems you're actually using.

Your equipment stays protected inside the trailer.

Your operator doesn't have to climb inside every time something needs attention.

It's the difference between owning an enclosed trailer and owning an actual mobile command center.

And it's one of the biggest reasons we like the Pure Pro Command so much.

You get the premium operating experience without necessarily needing the Flagship's additional water-production capacity.

11. Water-Fed Pole Integration: Don't Build a One-Trick Pony

Not every cleaning job requires a drone.

Sometimes the right tool is a water-fed pole.

Sometimes it's a pressure washer.

Sometimes it's soft washing.

And sometimes a single property needs more than one method.

Our premium drone cleaning trailer configurations incorporate water-fed pole equipment so the pure-water system can support compatible ground-based cleaning operations as well.

That's valuable flexibility.

Especially for contractors offering commercial window cleaning, building washing, and other exterior cleaning services alongside drone operations.

The drone might be the star of the show.

But the trailer should still earn its keep when the drone isn't flying.

12. Water Is Heavy. Your Trailer Doesn't Care About Your Optimism.

One gallon of water weighs approximately 8.34 pounds.

That's easy to forget when you're clicking through equipment options.

Here's what it looks like when you fill the tanks.

Water VolumeWater Weight
100 gallons834 lb
200 gallons1,668 lb
300 gallons2,502 lb
400 gallons3,336 lb

And that's just the water.

Now add the trailer.

The pumps.

The engines.

The tanks themselves.

Fuel.

Reels.

Purification equipment.

Batteries.

Tools.

And everything else you plan to bring.

Suddenly, the loaded weight starts looking a lot different from the empty trailer sitting in the showroom.

A proper build has to account for gross vehicle weight ratings, axle ratings, tires, brakes, tongue weight, load distribution, and tow-vehicle limits.

And while we're talking about practical engineering, let's not forget serviceability.

Filters need changing.

Pumps need maintenance.

Electrical systems need inspection.

If you have to dismantle half the trailer to service a pump, somebody screwed up the layout.

The equipment should be built for the work—and for the inevitable day when somebody has to turn a wrench.

13. One Drone, Two Operators, or a Whole Crew?

Don't choose a trailer based only on what you're doing today.

Think about how the operation may grow.

Will you run one drone?

Will you also have ground-based water-fed pole operators?

Will pressure washing and soft washing happen during the same job?

Multiple cleaning activities can increase demand on shared water, pumping, plumbing, and electrical systems.

And here's the part that matters:

Just because a trailer has multiple systems doesn't mean every system can run at full capacity simultaneously.

The combined operating demand still has to fit within the equipment's actual capabilities.

More operators don't create more water.

They just use it faster.

14. The Biggest Mistakes We See When Choosing Drone Cleaning Equipment

There are a few ways to spend a lot of money and still end up with the wrong rig.

Buying based on the lowest sticker price. If you're going through hundreds of dollars in resin every job, the bargain might not be much of a bargain.

Buying based on the biggest GPM number. Extra capacity is only valuable if your equipment and workflow can use it.

Ignoring incoming water. The best purification system in the world can't produce water it isn't being supplied.

Confusing storage with production. A big tank buys time. It doesn't create unlimited water.

Ignoring drone compatibility. Pumps, pressure, flow, hoses, and cleaning solutions have to meet the aircraft system's requirements.

Treating controls as an afterthought. Remote systems and electric reels are better when they're designed into the complete build.

Forgetting the loaded trailer weight. Four hundred gallons of water is a whole lot heavier than four hundred gallons of enthusiasm.

And the biggest mistake?

Buying a trailer because it looks impressive instead of buying one that actually fits your operation.

So Which ProTool Drone Cleaning Trailer Should You Buy?

Here's how we'd approach it.

If you're getting started and want RO/DI purification without paying for every upgrade, Pure Essential deserves a serious look.

If you want commercial equipment with electric reels, remotes, and charging, Pure Pro is a strong working configuration.

If you want premium integration and the best balance between capability and investment, Pure Pro Command is the sweet spot.

If you want the complete package with substantial sustained pure-water production, the Flagship is our best overall recommendation.

If you have unusually demanding water-production requirements and can support the necessary feedwater supply, we'll happily talk about the BEHEMOTH.

And if you're considering the Cheap Shot?

We'll talk about that, too.

But we're doing the resin math first.

Because that's what we'd want somebody to do for us.

Why We Rank Our Own Equipment This Way

Some manufacturers would never publish a list that puts their most extreme product in last place.

Or explain why their cheapest product could be the wrong investment.

We don't see the problem.

We built these systems.

We're proud of them.

But we're not going to pretend every configuration makes sense for every contractor.

The BEHEMOTH is incredible engineering.

The Cheap Shot serves a particular purpose.

The Pure Essential is a sensible starting point.

The Pure Pro and Pure Pro Command are serious working systems.

And the Flagship is our best overall drone cleaning trailer.

Different builds.

Different strengths.

Different reasons to exist.

At ProTool, we'll sell you the biggest trailer we build. We'll sell you the cheapest one, too. But we'd rather sell you the right one.

That's not a slogan.

That's how we think equipment should be sold.

Ready to Build Something Better?

You've seen our rankings.

You know what the equipment does.

And hopefully, you have a much better idea of which features are worth paying for—and which ones might just be expensive decoration for your particular operation.

FAQs

What is the best ProTool drone cleaning trailer for 2027?

The ProTool Flagship is our best overall drone cleaning trailer for 2027, combining dual HydroPanel 4.5 RO/DI systems with premium controls, hose management, and integrated cleaning equipment. For contractors seeking a balance of capability and investment, Pure Pro Command is our recommended sweet spot.

What should I look for when buying a drone cleaning trailer?

Start with your drone's pressure, flow, and delivery requirements. Then evaluate purification capacity, incoming water supply, water storage, soft wash equipment, hose reels, remote controls, loaded trailer weight, and maintenance accessibility. The best trailer is the one that supports your actual cleaning operation.

What is the difference between DI-only and RO/DI drone cleaning systems?

DI-only systems use ion-exchange resin to remove dissolved minerals directly from incoming water. RO/DI systems use reverse osmosis to remove most dissolved minerals before final DI polishing, which can significantly reduce resin consumption during high-volume cleaning.

How much can DI-only water purification cost for drone cleaning?

In an illustrative higher-TDS scenario, a six-hour cleaning job consuming approximately 2,000 gallons of pure water could use two cubic feet of DI resin, costing about $545 at the assumed ProTool resin price. Actual consumption depends on water quality and operating conditions.

How much can a HydroPanel save on DI resin?

If RO pretreatment reduces DI resin consumption by 90%, a job that would otherwise consume $545 in resin could use approximately $55 instead. That's roughly $490 in modeled resin savings per job, excluding other RO/DI operating and maintenance costs.

Why does ProTool sell the Cheap Shot if DI-only can be expensive?

The Cheap Shot provides a lower-cost DI-only option and illustrates the trade-offs of choosing a lower initial purchase price. ProTool generally encourages contractors planning high-volume pure-water cleaning to consider RO/DI alternatives and calculate expected resin consumption.

What is the best-value ProTool drone cleaning trailer?

Pure Pro Command is ProTool's recommended sweet spot for contractors who want premium equipment, Command Port integration, electric hose reels, remote controls, and HydroPanel 4.5 purification without moving all the way to the Flagship.

Is the ProTool BEHEMOTH better than the Flagship?

The BEHEMOTH has substantially greater rated pure-water production capacity, but that doesn't make it the best practical choice for most contractors. ProTool recommends the Flagship as its best overall enclosed drone cleaning trailer, while the BEHEMOTH is an engineering showcase for unusually high-capacity applications.

Can one HydroPanel 4.5 continuously supply a drone using 5.5 GPM?

Not by itself at those rated flows. A 4.5 GPM purification system produces less water than a cleaning system consuming 5.5 GPM, so stored water would be needed to cover the difference. Sustained operation requires sufficient total production, storage, or other appropriately designed supply capacity.

Do drone cleaning trailers need soft wash equipment?

Not every drone cleaning application requires soft washing. A dedicated soft wash system is useful when the cleaning process calls for controlled chemical application, provided the drone and delivery equipment are compatible with the solution and operating conditions.

Are electric hose reels worth it on a drone cleaning trailer?

Electric hose reels can reduce the physical effort involved in retrieving long hose runs and improve daily operating convenience. Their value increases when crews deploy multiple hoses frequently or work on large commercial properties.

Where can I compare all six ProTool drone cleaning trailers?

The ProTool Drone Cleaning Trailer Comparison provides a dedicated side-by-side comparison of the available configurations. You can also use the ProTool Build Configurator to explore custom equipment combinations and estimated pricing.
